Understanding Of My Mission Statement

As Mrs Platford said, “A mission statement can be a positive statement.” The mission statement clarifies what one wants to achieve and it is done over time. It reflects and builds on one’s values, goals, qualities, and aspirations. It’s motivating and encourages self-development.”

MMA is a great way to stay in shape. It teaches me self-defense so I can protect myself. I have also started playing basketball again because I like the workout and enjoy being part of a group. I can take a breather and relax from school with both sports. Both also provide me with two useful skills. My goal is to be selected for the first basketball squad and participate in MMA competitions.

They are my family and they support me in all of my tough times. They help me be who I am and aspire towards what I want to achieve. Vivian Tjoa said, “Friends are temporary but family is eternal.”

They also allow me to be myself and express myself in school. Len Wein’s quote about true friendship is a good summary.

I use meditation to help me clear my head so that I don’t get overwhelmed. It helps me to remain calm in stressful situations or environments. The quote “Silence Isn’t Empty, Its Full of Answers” has helped me navigate difficult times.

Religion is an important part of my everyday life. It’s a strong foundation that I share with my family. Religion gives me an identity and a sense belonging. I love the Bhagavadgita quote “It’s better to be imperfect in your life than to try to emulate someone else.”

Ethics have always played a big part in my life. As I believe that karma is real and that everything you do has a consequence, I try to do what’s right.
